“Deforestation: African Resources in Decline” is an educational site targeted at making learning easier for high school students and educators or simply people who are concerned about our environment and would like to learn more about deforestation. A one-stop information site which makes e-learning fun and wholesome and providing an oracle of knowledge and learning experiences.

What was need?
Mtandao Afrika (MAf) Internet Challenge is a website contest for African youth in the age of 12-19. The contest is focusing on the creation of African web sites with African content and promotes the use of African local languages. I worked with a students from Egypt and Uganda to create this educational resource which was translated to 6 languages including local languages. The website has made it to the 2006 MAf finals.
