After a long and hectic semester, our faculty organized a student study tour in The Netherlands where we visited three Dutch universities and several technological companies. During the tour, we were able to see how universities are well connected to the corporate world by engaging in research to solve industry problems. We also witnessed several practicabilities of many concepts (theory) we study in class.
During the visit, we had a live lecture of Constructive Proof Theory which really helps students to get their logic right practically, looked at researches being done by Ugandan students and visited several universities i.e. Radboud University, University of Groningen, TU Eindhoven. We also had a chance to visit several companies including Cordys and the Phillips Stadium.
