Have you ever thought that God was far away from you or God has let something so bad to happen in your life or something of the sort..? Well, for me, I have always known God is able and still with me even when I am down. I still know that he is around me though I cry out to him as if I don’t know the true.Nick preaching

Anyway, if you have ever thought that God has forgotten you, You MUST be joking!! Last Sunday Last Sunday but one, we were blessed to have Nick Vujicic preaching at my church (Kampala Pentecostal Church) of how God has been so good to him even when he doesn’t have limbs.

Nick is the first born of his father (a Pastor in Australia) and was born without limbs. His parents, family, the doctors, church etc were all shocked by his birth without limbs and there was no medical explanation why he was born without limbs.

Nick explained how God has been still good to him even without limbs. No wonder, his slog is “From life without limbs to life without LIMITS!”. You just imagine that in Australia at the time, disabled persons were not allowed to go to schools but God through his mother enabled. Even after the break through, I really think that he had a lot of challenges of other students disturbing him and thinking he can’t do certain things but he managed to get through all that.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Sometimes our pain, suffering, anxiety and depression seem so much more real than the promises of God. I share how God turned my life around from a life without limbs to a LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS! God is using me in a mighty way to challenge people to claim the promise of that future and hope. As Proverbs 3:5 says to trust the Lord with all you heart without understanding the circumstances in your life. God is a good God not because of your circumstances, but because God is Faithful and will not leave you!

It gives me no greater satisfaction than knowing that my life has a great purpose and can be used to Glorify God! My prayer is that you’d be encouraged and challenged to diligently seek the Lord with all your heart and see the great future and hope you have in Christ! May God continue to strengthen and nurture your heart according to His Perfect Will. Have a wonderful day knowing that God is with you every step of the way!

Today Nick brings hope and joy to people who are hopeless. God is using Nick to preach and reach out the Word of God. Aren’t you challenged by what Nick can do? Surely, I was really touched by Nick’s testimony and this has kept me thinking and you will probably think also that if God can use someone without limbs why not you.

So please, the truth is not in what is taking place in your life but it is the Truth that God loves you and in the right time, you will see what you believing in. Just keep that faith high and that situation you are going through isn’t permanent but temporary. Through that situation, just ask God what He is showing you instead of complaining.
